Tachograph fitting

Hi First post so be kind

I spoke with VOSA ( or what ever they are called this week ) and informed that to pull a exhibittion trailer on my own Disco 4 would need a tacho so it looks as though I will have to fit one

I have to go to a registared center to have it fitted and discussed with them where it would go as not much room in a HSE dash

Any one fitted one and got any tips as to where to put it

Or if you where stopped you could just be on route to sell it Whistle

Some cost in fitting a tacho but I'm sure somebody will be along to tell you just how much.

Does that mean you will have to do a drivers cpc? As you will need to apply for a digi card.

You don’t need Driver CPC if you’re carrying equipment or material that you’ll use in the course of your work, provided that driving the vehicle is not the main part of your job. Thank god this is the case

The cost is £1500 which is a pain but has to be done
