Airfilter is clean, blocked IC is another contender although I have been flushing ir regularly - but hey, I did that with the D3 and still ended up with a clay brick

Defo not a blocked IC or loose airflow meter plug

I got similar symptoms as been driving with faulty egr waiting for good sunny weekend before swapping both
Excessivecfuel consumption is the worst bit as it got really 
black smoke on start and hadr boot
