Suspension will not raise until engine is cool.... |
|
Well, i was out the on the weekend and i was doing a lot of rock crawling in low range. 2 thirds of the way through the place i get a warming message about the suspension will not raise until engine is cool. (Something like that)
Is this normal when driving in low range?

Nothing to do with Low Range, but entirely possible if using lots of suspension articulation where the compressor is working a lot more than usual to lower/raise individual circuits.
It isn't an error as such, just a safety mechanism to save the compressor from getting too hot.
You can also provoke this by raising and lowering the suspension several times.
If it doesn't happen in normal circumstances, I wouldn't worry about it. Just leave it for a few minutes and it'll cool down on it's own (I'm guessing it could also have been exaggerated by a very high external air temperature) 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Had LR do some fixes today. They said it was a known fault and upgrade the software. lets hope it all works!
