Guys,
You are probably aware that my car has been in to fix the suspension error message when going over bumps.
The last time it was in at the dealer they downloaded a software update, and told me it was fixed.
Only it was not, the fault reappeared the very next time it was driven over another bump.
It went back to the dealers this Monday, and was booked in for two days.
I called today to check the status and was told that it will not be ready for another three days at least!!
The reason is that LR cust services have now told the dealer that the cure is to replace the entire vehicle wiring loom from front to rear, the reason that it will take another three days to complete properly.
Lets hope that this will finally fix the problem with the suspension, as my car at the end of this week will have spent over 20 days at the dealership just with suspension errors.
I live in hope!!

LOL Pelyma,
Of course I read the item in LRO too.
As an aside my local independant dealer has told me that LR Customer service know all about the suspension errors, and have even sent the current design and spec of the Air Suspension compressor has gone back to the manufactures of the unit for a complete new desion for all new Disco 3s and RRS.
So what will happen to ours then I wonder?

One of the problems we all have to live with, is that we are somewhat expert in a whole variety of faults - having read about them and discussed them here - even if we have never actually experienced the fault in person.
What I find utterly, butterly, amazing is when the guy who runs the workshop at a main dealer looks at a list of issues I gave him this morning, with service bulletin numbers where appropriate, and the only one he was aware of was the PDC. This is even more startling given that the car was in there in May having the passenger side mirror angle fixed - which I didn't think was any different when I got it back, and clearly was never actually done!

Yes that is amazing ! My dealer has a book with all the bulletins so all technicians have access.
But it must be frustrating for them to get customers from this site who come in with such a list though (I do it too !). I guess they pick up after LR mess.

Incredublous really... a multi million dollar company like Ford and they cannot even educate their own channel to a level higher level than the customer.
