Suspension Lowering
Hi all, new here.
Just a question regarding the suspension. When mine is left in standard height, the front drops gradually over the course of a few hours. The passenger side looks lower, so I figured it was a leak, but as a test, I left it in extended height overnight, and there is no drop whatsoever.
Anyone else encountered this, and know what the cause is? Is there greater pressure in the struts when left in off road height and therefore helps it stay all the way up?

Could be valve blocks. Do a search on here, there are hundreds of posts about sinking suspension and the causes.
Edit. Could also be an air bag puncture, that somehow is sealed when at height, ie. as the bag rolls on itself.Richard

Cheers, I did do a search but couldn't find anything directly related to the issue I was having, probably didn't look hard enough...
Wouldn't a valve block issue cause it to sink in every suspension mode?

Hmmm, ok that sounds like it could be an option...
I'll do the water spray trick and see if any leaks present themselves.

Definitely do a water spray test on the struts, bit of washing up liquid in the water and if you have a leak it'll go all frothy 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
