Suspension Issues

Just got my Disco 3 (an 08 model XS). Per a prev post I get a horrid grinding noise from the suspension height motor/compressor that comes n goes (even when the height adjustment is finished). The car is booked in to the supplying dealer next week to look at this. BUT my wife has told me that the car is visibly leaning (not sure what direction or by how much). Does this seem related? Is there a standard cause / fix for this. Is there anything I need to say to dealer to ensure the probs are fixed? Is there a way I can test the result of the fix eg put it up n down etc...? thanks

Any ideas guys re the noise from the rear? The garage have been unhelpful and said they cant find the fault but it is probably the compressor just refilling the tank. I have told them that I dont agree as it comes and goes very regularly even if we havent adjusted suspension for days. I am unhappy to pick the car up and just wait for it to make the noise again and to then have a 2 hr round trip to go back with the car.

Does anyone else have a loud noise from the rear that sounds a bit like a slow running drill ? thanks

I thought all of the models had rear air (except the 5 seater coil sprung model?).?

no, I have an out of balance fan in the rear unit which (depending on fan speed) makes a similar noise and can be extremely loud if the fan is going full pelt.

CW means air con not air suspension.

Oh - no I dont have rear air con. I am pretty sure it is related to the compressor/tank but just cant believe that it should be so noisey and that it should do it intermittently. But maybe that is normal?
