I'm getting an intermittent orange triangle and "restricted performance" message on my '10 plate D4, although I've yet to work out what performance is restricted, since the car drives fine, including raising up and down.
The fault seems to arise more frequently if the car has been parked for a short period on a non-level surface. It doesn't seem to happen if the car has been left overnight or if I leave the car in access height.
I'm thinking ride-height sensor, but don't have a way to read the fault codes (yet).
Any ideas?
