suspension fault

Hi everyone, my compressor on my discovery 4 broke the conrod , so i replaced the conrod and piston and barrell ,then i checked the compressor and it worked fine.. I reinstalled the compressor and it works for about 30 seconds then stops SO i start up the engine and it does exactly the same thing.. Anybody got a solution .. please help

Can you time it on a few occasions? It could be shutting down due to overheating or maybe there’s no compression so it auto shuts off. Or perhaps the compressed air can’t escape and it locks up? Loads of thoughts but without having a play it would be hard to say.

I truly hate these compressors Laughing

If you have an IID tool you can sit and watch it over heating (think it gets to about 180c before it cuts out so I doubt it will be that that's causing it. I'm currently battling with a "Suspension Fault" in the form of "Not Venting Gallery" so mine cuts out as soon as you turn the Disco on (well after 10 secs ish)

Hello again

I dont think its overheating
I was told that all id have to do was reconnect the compressor and it would be ok
i think ill try another compressor
i dont trust the old one now
is there a decent replacement you recommend

Something broke the con rod in the first place, and if the new one stops, could you not have a blockage somewhere causing it to over pressurise? Fitting a new compressor may not fit it.
