Suspension Fault
Having seen this crop up many times, I now have the 'Suspension Fault Normal Height Only' fault appearing after several minutes driving. This has graduated from just an amber light and 'Suspension Fault' since the care returned from having a new TC fitted.
At ignition no fault is present, and the car will level correctly in all three different suspension heights.
Codes appearing are:
C1A27-12 Compressor Circuit (Circuit short to battery)
C1130-66 Air Spring Air Supply (Signal has too many transitions/events)
So any advice welcome...
1) I'll put it into off road overnight, remove fuse and use the insulation tape trick to identify whether it drops in any/all corners
2) Try soapy water trick on the dryer cap to check for the (common) crack
Things I have already done:
1) Replaced front off side tyre due to excessive wear on outside edge
2) 4-wheel alignment
3) Steering angle sensor reset
4) Changed brake light switch
Thanks guys

C1139-66 Air Spring Air Supply. The signal has too many transitions / events
Cause:
- air leaks from the air spring or hose valve jammed open position (fully or partially)
- Moving car while the system is in "close tolerance"
Action/Controls:
- See the section of the Workshop Manual and perform a test to detect any air leaks in the suspension system
- Using the diagnostic system approved by the manufacturer, test the operation of angle valves (interface height of travel of the vehicle)
- Using the diagnostic system approved by the manufacturer, deleted the "close tolerance" mode.
C1A27-12 Compressor Circuit (Circuit short to battery)
Cause:
- power relay unit of the jammed air suspension in place Short circuit position of power in the circuit of the power of the air suspension
Action/COntrols:
- Check operation of the relay power supply unit of the pneumatic suspension. Consult the wiring diagrams and check the possible presence of a short circuit on the power supply unit in the power supply circuit of the pneumatic suspension.
IMHO, change the compressor relay with a new one and test the car......Discovery 5 tdv6 HSE Corris Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition
