Suspension compressor upgrade with IID Tool

Help my Hitachi compressor is on its way out,
can I change the software with IID tool to run the later type of AMK compressor?

What changing the pump or flashing the software?. Both are easy.

You can check what software is loaded on the compressor via the tool.

Hi Flack, my pump is over running and causing a the 60amp fuse to blow.
I have got one off AMK a 2015 Discovery so if it’s easy job,I was just going to fit that and upgrade the software if possible.
Bit of a novice with the IID tool.

Change the relay as well, just look in the menu and flash it with AMk flash, just make sure you have either the battery on charge or a power supply big enough to keep constant 12 volts plus while flashing the ECU, your flashing the EAS ECU not the pump itself.
