Suspension adjustments -

Hi, Im a new New Discovery3 owner.

When parking on a slight hill, the from suspension reduces slightly upon exit. Recently a burst of Hot Air / Smoke can be seen and smelt from under the front bumber, as you hear the suspension coming down.

I guess its normal for the suspension to release its air pressure, but i should I be worried about the the fact its smells as though there is burning.

Any help appreciated.

Are you sure that the smoke and smell is not just the fuel burning heater doing its stuff?

It's quite normal for your D3 to 'settle' when you exit, even if you've not engaged access mode.
It might even 'fart' occassionally whilst doing this.
But there shouldn't be any smell.
Suggest [as Robbie states] it's the FBH settling down that you're smelling.
