Super extended mode

Hi all

How do I get super extended mode on my 2005 disco 3 se please?

If I put foot on brake, hold suspension up (when already in extended)
Running or not... it doesn’t do it?

Put a black of wood under the chassis and drop the car down onto it. Then car thinks it’s grounded and let’s you select super dooper extension mode. Thumbs Up

I think, they are memories from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Thumbs Up

Cheers so it can only be done with a block underneath?

Engine on
extended mode
Block underneath
Brake down and hold up extension
Done?

Do I have to put a piece of wood under both sides to achieve it? Or is there a central area to put 1?

I just want to show off to my son so ideally don’t want to be going under

Put it in off road mode, put something under a car. Put it in access mode. Car will try to lower down, but won`t be able to, due to the blockage, then it will go into extended mode to avoid this obstacle. Just make sure doors are closed.

You cannot put it into super extended mode only the car can do it if theres a obstruction under the car.

If you have gap lld you can raise it to whatever height you want

The motor will go into extended mode when it grounds ..but super-extended does involve using the brake and sus lever as seen here with my first D3 on Chapel Gate lane back in 2006.

Run it through a lake - when it starts to get deep and the vehicle starts to think about floating a bit, the wheels will reach down in the water looking for the bottom Rolling with laughter

Can only find the lake photo from 2006! Big Cry

You can only access super extended mode when the car has gone into extended mode - you cannot select extended mode, to get into this the car has to be grounded or as advised - go into offroad height and put the jack or block of wood hard up under the chassis and then lower - the car will then go into extended mode and then using the instructions you have you can select Super Extended - OR you can do what I have, you can buy a LLAMs kit and select whatever height you want whenever you want.

Hey what’s the bottom line cheapest way to get a control like the LLAMS kit please?

Apart from a wooden block lol

I’d absolutely love to cruise around at max height would be a proper head Turner in my Chelsea tractor looking d3 haha 😆

And thanks again all

Gonna try the wood block tomorrow

Just thinking, I’ve got an Autel ap200 diagnostic tool: it can calibrate the suspension by typing the heigh in mm of each wheel.. maybe I could say it’s lower than it is, so its tricked to extend higher!

Or would that do damage along the line of software / mechanical actions?
