OK, so warranty ran out on Friday and here we are two days later and the sunroof has packed up !
Have checked the fuse (No.20) behind the govebox and its OK. Does anybody have any other checks I could do before I start taking the headlining off ? Where is the sunroof motor ? What happens if the sunroof gets stuck open !? - My old Saab used to have a little winder on the motor so you could wind the sunroof shut manually !
Any help gratefully received.

Don't know if this will help
Quote:It is possible to override the anti-trap

holding the front of the switch whilst the roof

Sunroof calibration
Under some circumstances (i.e. if the battery is
disconnected), the sunroof position may need
to be recalibrated. The sunroof position is
recalibrated as follows:
1. With the battery connected, turn the starter
switch to position ll.
2. Press and hold the front of the switch for
20 seconds. The sunroof will start to
move.
Continue to hold the switch until the
sunroof completes one full open and
closing cycle. When the sunroof stops
moving, release the switch.
The sunroof can then be operated as normal.
Note: Calibration will not function if the battery
voltage is low. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Thanks for that info.
The sunroof seems to have decided to reset itself this morning and now appears to be fully functional again !

Sunroof stopped working 3 days ago. Checked fuse all looks OK.

For some bizzare reason my sunroof stopped working after the extreme amount of snow, dont know if it is a coincidence! it wasnt operated but must have been partly open as car was soaked when it started to thaw, The reset worked a treat!
Thanks again!

Thanks DG - just had to do this to the D4, so at least we know it's the same process for the D3 & D4 LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
