Sunroof drains

On a D3 where do the drains empty on the car please. I need to clean mine out. Planning to use net curtain wire and I wondered how long the wire needs to be please? One of my front ones is seemingly blocked.
Thanks, John.

Nsf behind the plastic splash inner wheel arch roughly where the passengers feet would be
Osf behind the wing intake mesh grill, though I have never managed to actually find that one.
I think there are two at the rear as well but they seem to be much less trouble

Do a search as the wire might be to hard especially on the passenger side one Iirc theres a funny push on rubber fitting right at the bottom which is right behinde the main fusebox for the entire car.

There is laods of info on this site for sunroof leaks or water in footwells, google shoudl ahve a load of images as well.
There is also the wiki section at the top right under the number 3 in the site name.

Watch this for a good way to fix a broken or blocked drain

Roding is just a temp fix and fraught with problems if you push a hole in the pipe or push the elbow out of its position in the bulk head.

Change the elbows out and have piece of mind for 10 years Mr. Green

I used compressed air from my compressor to do mine after deciding ridding was just too much effort. A month later and no leaks inside. Took ten minutes to remove tie air intake on the wing and refit a pair of steps as I’m not a tall person and fitted the air gun on the end of the compressor pipe. Air won’t damage much but seemed enough to dislodge the blockages.
