Hi an update on my water ingress now cured ! Headlining removal was carried out by my local Land Rover guys as Gareth and Mark indicated the C pillar sun roof tube had detached completed ie a running tap when raining, many thanks!
Could any one advise on why the middle sun roof blind will at will release the blind, firing it backwards with a bang and at speed giving me a partial heart attack!
My Land Rover main agent reckons a new latch is required at £58-00! for a piece of plastic.
Any help or advice appreciated.

my previous D3 did this after having a new roof glass, turned out to be a simple fix. When the glass repairers lowered the headlining they lost one of the rubber tops from the catch (not on the blind itself) and also bent it down a bit. I just bent this bracket up a bit and replaced the rubber top once I found it - problem did not happen again and I sold it about a year later. But your right nearrly gave me a heart attack every time I went over a slight bump in the road!
