Stratstones Swansea timing belt and service offer
Good afternoon all.
Having seen the timing belt and 105000mile service advertised on this forum for £599, I took the plunge and booked my discovery in with my local Stratstones in Swansea. On arrival yesterday morning we were greeted by a nice fellow who took me and my family straight in to the service desk. The lady at the desk took my details and asked whether the brand new Freelander XS parked outside would be acceptable as the loan car for the day!
On our return later that afternoon the vehicle was in the queue ready for washing. We were given tea etc while we waited for it to be brought round to the front.
I went with some trepidation to pay at the service desk. The discovery had received a free health check and any areas needing attention had been highlighted. Only slight play in one track rod and one wheel bearing had been found.
Both belts and the service had been done as requested and the total price was £599 as quoted. No surprises or hidden extras.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Swansea and thought we should share this positive experience at Stratstones.
Regards
James

Thanks for that James, good to hear. Mine's due in January and Stratsones current offer ends in June, if they don't extend it, I might get it done early to take advantage of it.Arthur.
Comedy was a horse, Harvey a dog, both sadly gone. Thought I was choosing a password!
