I am booked into JAS in York early in the New Year, it can’t come soon enough as hate not having the D4!
Before I booked, I found a local company who had experience of D4 body removal and they got back to me - the reply is brilliant!

5 days to go until JAS get their hands on her, and I can’t wait, it’s been so hard not having the use of the D4 for the long trips, still doing my short commute and taking it steady. Had to move it on the drive earlier and it’s so loud and smells so bad now.
On the plus side I normally fill up once or twice a week, and I haven’t filled up now for 2 weeks and still got half a tank.2010 Disco 4 HSE

I dropped the D4 off at JAS on Thursday with the help of Green Flag and then had a call back on Friday morning.. Apparently its not the crossover pipe! Finally having some luck. My blowing, rasping noise is down to some broken EGR pipework! Hopefully I will now have the budget for a service, EPB service, and maybe even the knocking on the front end! Fair play to JAS, they could have quite easily charged me for a crossover! Think I have found my new garage
Got a loan car from JAS for the trip back home (FL), but I didn't want to put 1500 miles on it so got a BMW 330e from the office - Loving the economy and the silly speed but I will be glad to get my D4 back - Hopefully Thursday depending on what happens with the pipework and service.
Looking very EV and polar bear friendly on my driveway now.2010 Disco 4 HSE
