STOLEN WHEELS (Mine)
HI
If anyone sees the following wheels for sale anywhere please let me know as they were stolen from storage near Lincoln sometime in the last 4 weeks
4x Range Rover sport early 19" wheels with Pirelli Scorpion 255/55R19 111V M+S tyres
Powder coated Black
Also 4 x Range Rover later model 19" wheels with Knackered Maxis 255/50/19 tyres
Powder coated Metallic black
There were also a number of part worn tyres stolen that were 255/50/19 and 255/55/19
Police so far have achieved nothing despite having the registration number of the VW Passat driving Eastern Europeans who were caught inside the property by a neighbour during their last visit to the property
If anyone sees anything on Ebay or for sale elsewhere or has been offered anything then I'd appreciate a heads up
Cheers

Just got back from a number of international trips to a letter from our local Chief Constable, despite the people who took the wheels being seen and their vehicle reg number identified and recorded by a witness who gave a full statement, including being able to identify what part of the EU they were from by their dialect (his wife uses the same language as her native language) the police have taken no further action as they do not have a witness stating the persons were actually carrying the wheels and tyres or any high resolution CCTV identifying them in the act!

^^^^ Thats ridiculous! They are failing in their duty, the suspects should be traced and interviewed at the very least

high resolution CCTV identifying them
the high resolution is a CPS requirement for all CCTV evidence - nowt to do with ole Bill.
Maybe NFA also because (a) the car was not registered in UK - although an ANPR marker could be put on it. so - (b) where do they live so they can get nicked - (c) have they moved to another EU country in the 4 weeks it took for the report to be made...etc
Dont forget that the offence must be proved 'beyond reasonable doubt' not 'on the balance of probabilities'

Just unbelievable to experience that the Police are only interested in interviewing them if they are caught with stolen items by them leaving the premises - they were called during the break in but unfortunately it took them too long to arrive so the guilty party were long gone.
Vehicle was UK registered, we actually suspect the people work in a factory nearby but the Police will not confirm, and unfortunately it is now too late to get the full details from the guy who saw them as the police took all of his notepaper with the number on it.Must stop buying shiny toys....
Hi bud
Sorry to hear this
Can you contact the commissioner and have a dig at him to get a reaction
They are useless
I witnessed a golf being taken on our street I could identify the lookout who stood at the end of my drive, I thought they were after the 90 we also have
I got the number of the pick up they drove off behind the golf in
Told the local bill , never came to take a statement

Some drunk guy tried to break into the car on our driveway. Managed to get hold of him then sat on him until the police picked him up, which was surprisingly quick. When he'd sobered up he confessed to doing over 4 cars that night. Result! I guess 20 years ago the police weren't as busy as they are these days, and no doubt living in a small town where nothing exciting ever happened helped.2016 D4 TDV6 Corris Grey

These days of you live in a small town where nothing ever happens, your police are likely to be 15 miles away in the bigger town where it all happens.
Policing costs are through the roof, but very little goes on frontline officers.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
