Help needed
i have just purchased a Disco 4 Landmark 2016
Stolen recovered, and amazingly the bad guys have opened the tops of both rear compartment in the boot to access the DAB control unit
the reason is to disable the Telematics
so the have cut two fibre optic cables which connect in the DAB control unit ( and rippped the power plug out & took the roof aerial off)
anyone had to fix this before?
seem a repair fibre optic cable is required, but i need to strip and follow the loom to see where it goes
any help would be lovely

You might like to investigate repairing the optical fibre cables. Mechanical connectors are available that do not require the fibres to be fused together.
