What are Stirrups on a D3s Suspension?

Car is in with dealers at the moment as warranty is due to end I asked them to replace rack and stirrups as I still have a slight knock in steering. mechanic called me this afternoon to ask me what stirrups were and he never heard of them! Any of you guys know what these are? Thumbs Up

They are small hoop shaped metal rings hanging on leather straps attached to the bottom of the door openings to let the little people get in Laughing Laughing

Thud your dealer needs shooting.

They are the brackets (front and rear) the anti roll bars run through. Made of metal with a rubber insert. The rubber gets compressed and thus allows too much movement of the ARB... so you get the clunk / knocking noise.
