Hi all,
My drivers' doorhandle is getting increasingly stickier, pulls out a little (with no effect on opening the door), then need to pull harder to open the door; that's always been the case so far, but the second "tug" has now become stickier, in that I need to put quite some force to actually pull...
Trying to avoid taking apart as it will mean I'll need to source another colour coded set (unless they sell the handles in single units?), and was wondering if there's any experience of this happening before ("+sticky +doorhandle" in the search did not bring up an results )
Will try WD40 as a temp fix but would rather sort out before it becomes more of an issue...

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be about the hazards of certain nocturnal carryings on in car parks.
I’m disappointed.

DB my car had similar issue on passenger front door, was like that since I bought the car in 2010. Had my car in dealer for rear door not opening with remote and asked to check front door, well they replaced both door's latches not the handle, under warranty. LR keep the old part so can't tell you more, tech said must be mud in the mechanism! A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2

common problem / replace the actuator/ latch assembly cost around £30 for replacement. Replaced one of mine for the same fault a few weeks ago. 'Just because you're breathing doesn't mean you're alive'
