Sticking gearchange.

I have looked for problems with not changing up on the 8 speed gearbox but can find no posts, mine tends to stick on occasion and have to use the paddles to change up,any thoughts please?

I would be checking the brake light switch. If the car thinks it's braking, it won't change gear. Cheap to replace.

Or possibly you are catching the paddle inadvertently, putting it into command shift. Hold the right paddle for 4 seconds to reset if you accidentally engage CS

I recall the 6 speed box was designed to hold in lower gears when cold as a means to get the oil up to temp more quickly . I'd assumed the 8 speed has the same feature when mine occasionally holds onto a gear a bit longer than normal.
