What is the stickiest stuff to keep my Dashcam stuck?
I have a BlackVue 750Dr dashcam. It's excellent apart from one critical point...it keeps coming unstuck from the sticky stuff that holds it onto the screen.
The dashcam is fairly bulky but not super heavy. The sticky stuff it came with seems to adhere to the glass well enough but the dashcam seems to fail to stick to it's own sticky stuff in hot weather.
I cleaned the screen and the dashcam and tried a 3M numberplate pad. That was worse.
Recommendations for super sticky stuff to afix it once and for all.

I tried everything. Roughing up the surface etc. In the end I got a suction holder off the bay.
Steve. You remind me of a younger me, not much younger mind...perhaps even a little older!

My A119v3 came with 3M tape. Still fixed in place a year or so later.

Just went onto Amazon, searched on 5 star reviews of double sided tape and picked one. It’s been holding 2 years without dropping off like the original did.
I’ve tried lots of different double sided tapes, they always seem to fail, especially in the summer, once they fail they ever stick the same again, genuine BlackVue ones are the best, but you must clean both the screen and mount with isopropanol or such like.

A lot of the 3M tape is fake 3M tape. Get onto 3M & ask for a retailer in your area. Write a very polite physical letter to the CEO, you can find the info on government business data, you always get help. I have done this many times.
I have 5 dashcam (2 at front, one without polarising optical film), none of them have dropped off.
Custom side camera setup for 360 coverage.

try "black Tack" its used by photographers to keep things in situ. Very very good and can be moulded into shape and will last the apocalypse
