It will be the discs. Not necessarily warped, but could have surface damage due to pad burn-in. Might have been caused by a sticky calliper, overheating the disc, then you sit at some traffic lights with your foot on the brake and it marks the disc.
I had the same. Replaced discs and pads, cleaned and checked both callipers, and it’s been fine for a while now.
It has been a constant issue on my D4, ever since new.
I suspect the caliper slide pins that have the rubber ends on, don’t let the pad release properly. Plenty of silicon grease and a good working out made them slide much easier.
Hi
Hope ur don’t mind me asking a daft question , but can u ever get the discs turned or isn’t it cost viable plse , just curious

Could be caliper
Shortly after having my brakes and pads replaced at a less than decent shop, I experienced a wobble that was associated more with how long I was braking than how hard (wobble was actually less severe when braking really hard).
Turns out one of my calipers had become damaged. Had both front calipers replaced along with pads and rotors to be safe and wobble has been gone for over a year.
Next time you're in for brakes at a shop that knows their stuff, have them take a look at the calipers.
This occurred at 168,000 miles (still unsure wether the previous shop caused damage, or if this was due to wear and tear so I'm including the mileage)
Cheers,
Adrien

Exactly that problem began to occur to me since I decided to save a few euro and put Brembo brand pads and discs from an online store, not LR, I have never had this type of problem before ... getting old and learning ... nobody will never give you 5 euros for the price of one !!lost in translation!

there is a specialist company at Leicester that specialises is refacing while the discs are still on the vehicle, aimed mainly at racing/rally/high performance or problem cars.
One cause can be the wheel hub face not being clean, contaminated or damaged when the discs are fitted. Take the discs off clean the hubs and refit 90 degrees round It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I would have your front lower arm bushes checked before changing the discs. If you creep along and hit the brakes hard and get a clunking sound it will be the arms.

I have wobble when braking lightly. Pushing hard no wobble.
My lower arms are ready for change.
Could this be the problem or can it be something else?
It is on my D4!Discovery 4, MY2011, TDV6 Auto

That was what I had and it was the lower arms. If you brake hard from under 10kph you may well notice a knocking noise too.
