Steering Wheel Mode Button Stopped Working |
|
During last week the mode button stopped working on my D3. Audio volume works ok, haven't tested the cruise control on the other side yet.
The issue for me is that the right hand buttons control my AutoDAB radio. The car thinks the AutoDab unit is on and the mode button is usually used to switch it on and off. Despite the buttons not working the car still thinks AutoDAB is on. I have disconnected the DAB unit and also carried out a hard reset but still not working.
Reading on here it appears there are several things to try;
1/ New Clockspring
2/ New Right hand wheel buttons
3/ New Right side button loom
Any thoughts please?

This morning none of the buttons work apart from the horn.
I’ll start with checking wires & connectors.

It was my AutoDAB DAB radio adapter. unplugged it all and reinstated the original radio cables and all is well again. Just got to get the faulty DAB unit sorted now. I've got used to listening to Planet Rock and crystal clear Five Live.
