| Static or Short Circuite Sound |

Hi
this is going to be difficult to describe, but i will have a bash anyhow. within the last few weeks, i have notice a fault.
the first signs where the radio and phone just cutting out for a few seconds while driving, it then progrssed to while stationary to. could not work out what was happening until one day i drove home without the radio on, and noticed what can only be described a sound like static or when you quickly short circute a battery and get sparks.
i have tried a hard reset, just in case, but this has not solved the problem.
any thoughhts or suggestions please. Cheers

Hi Keith
There's a thread about this in 'In Car Electronics (D4)' under 'Stereo Crackle'. It's a known fault with LR, caused by the Digital TV. For a temp fix set your TV region to USA. I'd also contact your dealer to log fault with them.
