I have been having an occaisonal problem when I try to start my 13 month old TDV6 S Auto...
As the ignition key clicks round to the first position there is a clunk as the central locking unlocks and the hazard lights come on. Also the outside temperature display shows only two dashes. When I then turn they key all the way all I get is a click. Usually taking out the key and then trying again a couple of times sees things sort themselves out.
I have also had a similar problem whilst driving along.... the central locking unlocks, hazard lights come on and temp displays two dashes. Stopping and restarting seems to clear it.
The car recently had a total nervous breakdown and had the control box (CJB?) behind the glove compartment replaced. It seemed fine for a couple of weeks and now this lesser but similar problem has started.
Obviously I'll take the car back to the dealers in the New Year but if anyone knows what the problem could be I'd be grateful to hear.
