Stability at speed

I always wondered how my D3 would perform at motorway speeds if the need for emergency action was required.....until today Whistle

Lane 2, M60 at about 80mph Whistle a pair of ladders fell from the roof of the van ahead. Slammed on, ABS kicked in, a quick dart to Lane 3 (already knew it was clear), back to Lane 2 and back on the gas. Very, very impressive stability and although I fleetingly shat my pants the D3 coped with no drama whatsoever Thumbs Up

So all I could do was rant to myself about people who drive on the roads with insecure loads Evil or Very Mad

I doubt that an admission of about 80mph would be considered as either reliable or accurate evidence in a non calibrated vehicle but thanks for heads up. Thumbs Up

The offence someone admitted in a post must have been something else that could be proven by witness evidence to go with the admission like a due care or dangerous driving possibly. I could see that happening.

I bet you're glad your load was secured properly then Whistle Rolling with laughter

Good to hear the D3 looked after you. It is surprising sometimes when you think 'Oh Crapp' and the damn vehicle just says 'what ??? whats the issue ?? I'll look after you' Thumbs Up
