I always wondered how my D3 would perform at motorway speeds if the need for emergency action was required.....until today
Lane 2, M60 at about 80mph a pair of ladders fell from the roof of the van ahead. Slammed on, ABS kicked in, a quick dart to Lane 3 (already knew it was clear), back to Lane 2 and back on the gas. Very, very impressive stability and although I fleetingly shat my pants the D3 coped with no drama whatsoever
So all I could do was rant to myself about people who drive on the roads with insecure loads Badda bing.......How you doin'?
Java black SE, standard spec. Clean and shiny.

How ? they have to be caught in the act surely I could say that I drove my D3 at 186mph down the A3 at the M25 junction yesterday afternoon at 3.10pm
Can they prosecute me on that basis 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Only for perjury if you repeat it under oath Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

I doubt that an admission of about 80mph would be considered as either reliable or accurate evidence in a non calibrated vehicle but thanks for heads up.
The offence someone admitted in a post must have been something else that could be proven by witness evidence to go with the admission like a due care or dangerous driving possibly. I could see that happening. Badda bing.......How you doin'?

I bet you're glad your load was secured properly then
Good to hear the D3 looked after you. It is surprising sometimes when you think 'Oh Crapp' and the damn vehicle just says 'what ??? whats the issue ?? I'll look after you'
