ND - I stand corrected, I misunderstood the dealer, I thought they said recall, on further questioning they have come back with the following, it was a special service action, not a recall;
"Stripped and cleaned rear handbrake shoes to stop the squeaking detailed in a special service action so it wasn't a recall, Land Rover would send out letters regarding any recall to notify you to come into your local dealer."
Sorry for the confusion

Hey, no worries matey, and no need to apologise. Thanks for getting back to me. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
