SQUEEKING BRAKES BEING LAZY

Sorry to ask couldnt see the link . I ve just developed the squeeking brakes syndrome on my 07. Suffered from this for long time on my 54 plate and it was fixed under warranty until the modification was made. Is this still a recognised warranty issue. The first service is due soon and I dont want to get stung for a ton to get them cleaned . The car has only done 8k and they shouldnt be squeeking !!

I'm suffering a similar problem on mine and it has only done 3000 miles. After the car has been parked up for more than an hour or so, it often squeaks for a few hundred metres after you drive off. Gentle pressure on the brake pedal does not stop it so I suspect the EPB.

Colliers have had it in once and adjusted the EPB, but less than 24 hours later it was back.

I guess I'll have to take it back to them again when I get home. Too much intellectual firepower can damage your common sense.

Mines does that, seems to go after a bit.
