Squeal from rear end

I thought I had a sticking brake shoe on the nsr but when driving the note doesn’t change while braking but it goes quiet cornering so I’m thinking the wheel bearing is shot?

I had similar, my clips had deteriorated that hold the shoes. I flipped them upside down and all is good. I’ve got new clips here to fit when I get chance.

Not on a Disco, but had the same recently on another vehicle, camber of the road could set it off, then another change in the camber could go away again, thought wheel bearing but was found to be the Caliper.

Does it change when putting the handbrake on, just a tad though, had similar on mine, would go away with just a touch on the handbrake, disc/drum off and clean up and coppersilp the backplate at all contact points.

Are the rear callipers prone to seizing up? I’m going to order discs pads and shoes tomorrow

So I took a look today at the rear brakes today, the shoes had broken up, and worn the inside of the discs badly, also n/s/r upper arm bushes shot to pieces !
