Split charge additional battery location - help pls?

Hi, just wandering if someone can point me in the right direction for the location of the second battery in a split charge system please? Ive found the 2nd battery compartment but it has electronics in there... Ive removed them from there fixings - am i supposed to be able to locate them around the battery? Please see pics below Smile

All that stuff can be moved and squeezed to the side or back of the tray so an aux battey can fit Thumbs Up MY2008 D3 - It got me hooked...gone
MY2012 D4 - It kept me hooked...gone
MY2007 D3 - Mid-Life crisis toy continues driving me to bankruptcy...
MY2018 "D5" Si6 - But is it a "true" LR...discuss...but now gone
Back in a D4 with a lot of extras....
