I have used a Snooper S5-R detector for a few years. Picked it up fairly cheap from ebay. A good bit of kit but does also warn you of any nearby traffic lights, garages, radar installations, automatic doors on shops etc.........etc....
It gets you looking for hazards and checking your speed whenever it bongs, which can't be a bad thing ?
Unless you can't cope with yet another bong every so often ?
Cheers, Nick.R

Dear Andrew,
I found an advertisement on the net of this legal device. Do you have it? Does it work?

Mine does have the possibility to switch of the typical "noice bands". Of course it depends which radars the local police use. If they use something within the band of traffic lights, doors etc, you will have to get used to the casino atmosphere in your car...

No I dont have one, I do have a snooper in the car that shouts when I get close to a camera/school locations, and it also alerts to laser/radar. I only have it installed to keep me aware of danger areas as this is where they locate cameras. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
