hi can any body help me i have just got my 01 09 2004 disco 3 tdv6 se and im missing sum speck should it have front fogs reverse sen leather ?

A number of the eraly disco 3's were incorrectly badged, you will probably find that yours is a 'S' with a 'SE', this was quite common for a number of the first cars sold.

Sounds like a pre production model as the D3 wasn't launched until the November  DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

hi thanks for the info, it definitly is not import as we have spoke to the dealer who we are currently waiting on a reply from them as to an explanation? the company that supplied the main dealership with the car is landrover co. fleetadmin. someone else has informed us that will we be able to squeeze landrover for the spec thats missing??

As Pelyma said if it was registered 1st of September '04 it's most likely an early press/demo vehicle. Official launch date was 1st November '04, nothing was available to the public before this The End

The funny thing is all the pre pro ones that I saw did not have any badge. LR gave away cars for people to try for a 3 month period and report back, This happened August/September time from memory, however I was under the impression they were subsequently crushed. help help!! where does that leave us? it also states on reg doc that it's an automatic and were driving around in a manual!! It sounds like were stupid why didn't we check all this b4 buying but it was bought from a friend who's a car dealer, we changed plates so didn't get to see reg docs till after purchase he told us it was lacking spec because it was early model! have we been had??

Slight changes in spec could be explained. But if the log book says it is an automatic, but it's a manual, then that is very worrying.
Have you checked the VIN numbers? Matt

I found an "SE" spec on the web. it was a Cyprus SE spec though. New, unregistered and being sold as a UK SE for a "great" price.
Depends what you paid for it though. Early UK SE's are going for the £28k mark.
If you paid this much for S spec you've been ripped off.

Even an S should have front fogs and reversing sensors - at least they do now. Were these on the original spec? Disco 5 HSE Lux
