I've got my logo in the same place as Woody. The panels onthe cover seems made for the job. The cover's been on for three months and no problems. It's also another barrier for wheel thieves so it works for me.

over to you then Woody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was on about the manufacturer. Possibly a tenner at LR, but the true cost was lost in the consumables for service.
I can hear the call you can make tomorrow, "that wheel cover I got for a tenner, can I order another 20." ermmmmmmmmmmmmm NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The SR version is the one produced for Stratstone and the GL for Gordon Lamb, I have the GL version and have not noticed any noise vibration from it.1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold

However, all group buys now have to be pre-approved by Martin to ensure maximum commercial benefit for the site......
News to me As far as I'm concerned if you organise a group buy as long as the site makes a few quid from it I can't see there being an issue. I can only see 'commercial benefit' coming in to play if the group buy was from a non-sponsor in competition with a site sponsor

I've passed a few things across but not heard anything back on any of them.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I had a lengthy discussion with Martin when I did the group buy for the Yellow tops (after I'd arranged it) Not sure how many people have given a donation to the site from that one.
If there's nothing coming back from the site owner, then personally, I'd be inclined to arrange the group buy and as has happened previously, just make it clear if your including a donation to the site or if you expect the buyers to make an additional donation to the site.
The items you've suggested Al would be welcomed by many. If Martin doesn't have the time (or inclination) to be involved with it, then go ahead my friend, you will find support here....
Some of these group buys are done on an individual relationship basis, so do not lend themselves to more 'official' approaches for sponsorship.
Others however, lend themselves to sponsorship, especially where there is likely to be on-going potential sales.
These group buys are a LOT of hard work and are always for no personal gain (In fact I lost money on my one!)
But I still got a good deal & I'm happy to put the effort in, knowing that 12 or so members benefitted
[EDIT] Well hopefully that will fire up a response somewhere..... Bodsys Brake Bible
