I have a friend in the Netherlands who has a Freelander 2.2 td4. He has paid the dealer some €300 for a "soot filter" but the dealer said that delivery would be 3 - 4 months. Dealer nows says maybe a year. My friend would like to know if we have the same problem with "soot filters" in the UK. As I have no idea what a "soot filter" is can any one help? It may be that his translation has gone awry but I doubt it.
Any ideas please. I have put a similar post on the FL forum but no response as yet.
