[For Sale] 2008 Discovery 3 HSE
2008 Discovery 2.7 HSE Auto, one owner from new, First Registered 17th Jan 2008, Stornoway Grey, Black leather currently 139k, Extras over standard HSE spec, Privacy Glass, Soft A bar, colour coded wheel arch extensions. Piano black trim, chrome sill tubes, front and rear mud flaps, Rubber over mat set. I have the original mat set un-used and the original arches unused.
Fitted with excellent Goodyear AT’S tyres, the fronts recently replaced, Serviced and Mot two weeks ago with no advisory’s. at the same time the handbrake cable / module was replaced.
It has the V8 disc conversion on the front, Gearbox flushed and EGR’s blanked and mapped to suit by Geoff. The torque converter and sump/ filter replaced today.
Bad bits, need the cam belt replacing, passenger side mirror cap missing, a few minor scratches here and there but no dents or significant body work damage this probably makes it sound far worse than it is.
We are only selling as I fancy something different after 9 years of ownership. I am based near Epsom but working during the week in Haywards Heath / Brighton.
Sold

Hi Keith
Could you give me a little more info on what other parts you have done to it. Looking at the MOT history you had some steering play. Did you also replace the handbrake pads?
If you can post some pictures of the interior that would be good too.
Thank you
David

Hi
Hand brake pads and discs were fine on the rear so not changed, after the mot where they advised play I had it checked and was told it was fine, and this was mentioned to the garage who did the service and handbrake cable / Module a few weeks back and they could not find any issue and neither did the tester hence no advisory on it this time.
I have done the discs and front pads in the last 6 months myself. I will see if i can get some pictures of the inside sorted but I am working away from home at the moment so may take a few days.
As I said the other issue was the torque converter and I had that done straight away last week.

As yours is 2008 I presume you are changing the oil pump while changing the belts.
