We are selling our Discovery 4, we have had it since September 2017, on purchase we set about a full mechanical rebuild which included the replacement of all the Main mechanical components, Engine, Gear box, Transfer box, front and rear diff which were all sourced from a 28,000 mile vehicle at a cost of £6000 + a further £3000 for fitting and rust protection of the chassis and a number of “while you’re in there” jobs that would make the car sustainable for long term ownership.
The running gear has now completed 61,000 miles in total, making this a low mileage Discovery 4. (Total mileage on the vehicle is 182,000.)
Subsequent to the mechanical refurbishment, the Discovery has benefited from ongoing progressive maintenance, that includes suspension replacement, wheel bearings, Battery, air flow meters and regular brakes and servicing. All the work is fully receipted and documented.
If your looking for an excellent value Discovery 4 which offers a good long term ownership prospect, this one offers that, its been enthusiast owned and comes with all the know Discover 4 jobs already completed and is very good value, please do confuse this with most of these that are for sale, that are in need of significant money spent on them.
