The car just sunk into the snow covered mud and i had to use a bit of power to get it out.

I totally agree with this,there are many prejudices on many topics about many countries and the British, with forgiveness, often use them too much and believe in them too often..... if you let me say it..Although if we stick to the weather, as is the case..... Brits who have traveled a little, always think that Spain is always doing sun and heat and that everything is a flat desert like Almeria or Benidorm ... while the reality is different, there are many more parts in Spain much more humid, rainy and cold that the United Kingdom by far.
..... Although I recognize that this case, the snow in Lebanon has surpassed me lost in translation!
