I've come over to Belfast this morning and it was snowing early this morning. Very different weather from Southampton where I flew from!

d3matt,

Welcome to Belfast, I took the opportunity to take and then put some pics in my gallery this morning since it was snowing.

When I went out for a pizza yesterday evening there no snow on the road. By the time I'd returned, half an hour later, there was enough snow lying to leave an e class merc stuck trying to get into the Palace Hotel car park. Not wanting to miss an opportunity for a 'rescue', I gave him a tow up the hill. I reckon it had to be lack of skill on his part that got him stuck - if a D3 towing 2 tones of car can do it, then 2 tonnes of car should be able to do it by itself, certainly when there's only an inch of snow...

A bit of slush left on Long Hill down into Whaley Bridge this morning made my commute a little more fun. I have to say, the Grass Gravel Snow setting is very handy for us leaden-footed drivers!

And BBC weather is predicting two snowflakes for Buxton tomorrow. Yay!
