snow mode program
hi all
i know we at times complain about the reliability issues
with the disco3 but i must admit it impressed me over
the xmas period
went to local beach for a walk using the back roads which
were like glass
used the snow mode and disco never missed a beat
on my way pulled 2 cars up a hill and rescued a man's trailer
that he could not pull up a hill attached to his car
1 of the cars i pulled up a 45degree hill in snow mode
with the disco not slipping at all
road was like a sheet of glass
very impressed how it managed to do it as you could not
even walk on the road
1 of the cars i pulled up a 45degree hill in snow mode with the disco not slipping at all
I know it's good but a 45degree hill is pushing things a bit. That's a 100% gradient and I'm not aware of any public roads with such an incline. A decent LR will do a 100% hill climb but I very much doubt if it will tow a car up such a snow covered slope! The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom
