smoke

my disco 3 tdv6 smokes under acceleration, mainly once its up to temperature, its black smoke, am i right in thinking its to do with fueling ie air filter or injectors? i have it booked in for a service next week but am concerned about any possible damage i may be doing, it has 192000 miles on the clock and still pulls like a train, just a bit smoky, which is embarrasing!

Check the large intercooler hose for a split, generally at the top Thumbs Up
