Smashed Passenger Glass

Hi,

Some Censored Censored Censored Censored Censored has nicked dashcam and smashed the passenger front glass to do it. Work car park - very public - broad daylight.

Marginally concerned it's got a load of my personal details on (you can see where I've been etc)...

Anyway earliest Autoglass appointment is next Wednesday (wtf!!)... Backlog due to closed roads from the snow apparently... The legend that is Dan at Duckworth Parts is getting me some glass for tomorrow morning, so going to try and fit myself.

Seen a load of tutorials about removing door cards.

Is there anything special or to be aware of about replacing glass? I've got domestic glass grabbers that I can use to move it, but wondered if there was any technique to be aware of?

Thank you

Can't provide much advice other than....
make sure you remove every bit of glass from the door.
I had thieves smash a side window when I was at Uni and must have missed a few bits of glass in the base of the door...tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, etc.
