sluggish on pick up and disconected connector?

ive found this lead does anyone know wot its for? and should it be connected to the other connector behind it? its just behind the battery also my car is very slow on pick up especially when its cold almost stalling! could this be the reason or any ideas? thanks for any help[/url]

That's for the transit relay, the dealer should have 'docked' it with the blanking cap attached to the wiring loom although not doing so will not affect any systems.
without any diag. codes it's impossible to tell why the pickup is sluggish (although there'll probably be a few wild guesses involving the letters 'G' 'E' and 'R' Rolling Eyes ) when was the oil last changed?

It's for isolating various D3 systems while the new vehicle is 'in transit' to the selling dealer from the factory to prevent battery drain - so no you don't need one! Wink

ive only had the car 6 months and only done 5k miles since its last service so i take it landrover would of changed the oil then it says in the service history a c type service? but would changing the oil fix the problem?

C? Confused only A & B types shown on the service check sheets....
6 months & 5k miles wouldn't degrade the engine oil (assuming the correct grade was used) enough to cause low temperature issues

The slow pick up will be due to the EGR - there you go 10FC - I said it! Mr. Green Rolling with laughter

Of course, these devices have also been known to affect the suspension, ball joints, CD player and the interior light above the driver. so, it is just a wild guess. Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
