Many thanks to Simon, quality finish product delivered promptly and are Mr. Green GREAT Mr. Green

Not a problem on the recomendation, have used tigerseal before and knew it would be up for the job.

I like the Colour coded mirrors for a while, and do look great on the D3, chrome are good too but always thought about my lazy way of cleaning, and scratching them would really show up.

Personally I think the chrome looks cool on Black cars and colour coded on everything else. Looking good on yours MacLeod 8)

I'm not a fan of colour coded bumpers and wheel arches but I like the look of your colour coded mirrors in the photo Jason. However, I think that they would look better if the bottom half was also colour coded.

Incidentally, what are you using to keep your Savage exhaust trims clean and shiny?

Thumbs Up Great - all in favour of cheap and cheerful remedies. Will give it a go!

As much as I hate to encourage you or agree with you Mac Laughing , they actually look very good. Thumbs Up

Just a question - in the photos that Slimer posted, you could see the mirror covers sticking out quite a bit from the rest of the mirror body and this put me off originally.

Seeing that you've glued yours on and probably removed the double sided tape, yours seem to fit much flusher....

Is there any chance of taking a few close up photos to show the differences where the cover meets the mirror body so I can see exactly how much they stick out using your method of attaching them?

Thanks!
Paul

As soon as I get home I will. The tape will stop the snug fit too

Here we go Paul, remebering I have achieved the snugger fit by using TigerSeal, and not the foam sticky strips supplied, which IMHO would leave a 3/4mm gap

And from underneath (note, not chips in paint, Tigerseal drips, did'nt know and will clean now)

Hope that helps ya
