Randomly had the window open while reversing today, heard a slight squeal when reversing. Wasn't too loud, quite high pitched. Didn't seem to repeat after that one time.
What might this be? Indicative of a maladjusted EPB? Warranty runs until October this year, so want to get any potential niggles fixed before then!
Have searched forum but there some kind of database error coming up when searching for posts rather than topics.

Am waiting for dealer to switch everything into my name (recently acquired) then will have them do a few bits, and check the EPB if the noise repeats itself!

bet the noise is from the front at around 5mph, ie the front pads when the wheels rotate the opposite direction, quite common, nothing to worry about
Ford transits are well known for it

Bit slower than that, just a crawl.
Are you comparing my high-tech luxury 4x4 to a Transit?

Mine used to do it, just needed some maintenance of the brake calipers, got rid of the dust build up, made sure the calipers moved freely and put a light smear of copper slip on the rear of the pads & all OK since.

I fancy the bigger V8 discs, so doing that might sort it. Safety first right?

had this on my first d3,it only squeaked for 15-20 feet then stopped,at the time i had read a report in landrover international that it was a well documented fault,it was still under warranty so local dealer had it in,but sods law it would not do it,but they stripped it down anyway cleaned it all out did some adjustments and all was ok.when i mentioned the l/r int report the dealer said it was very uncommon,
they did advise though to use it regularly to keep it working as intended, otherwise it could seize up .
