Slacker than a wizards cuff......
Now that I have your attention.... get your mind out the gutter ha ha
I have a thermos travel mug and it doesn’t fit the cup holder in the centre at all, it’s top heavy and flaps about as the base is far narrower than the cup holder. I do have the incerts installed currently.
Is there a decent travel mug/cup that fits the D3 drivers cup hold gloriously?? Ideally, all metal base and a metal handle. Someone out there must feel a sense of smugness when their cup fit like a glove!

Do you have the original D3 inserts or the D4 ones? The D4 ones are much tighter and won’t let anything flap around.
FWW500042PVJ (D3) vs FWW500070PVJ (D4) or LR087454 (D4)

I've been wondering the same. I've bought a fair number of cups since acquiring my Disco. I've been wondering about looking for some dense tape to wrap around the base of a cup.

Try the D4 cup holder inserts They won’t let a Mickey D’s 0.4 liter pop drink wiggle.
It’s one of the “best” mods you can do to a D3

The thing with a lot of these reusable travel cups is they come in some ridiculous colours. I settled on this one in the end which fits in the RRS (same as D4) cup holder perfectly with the little rubber inserts. I use it every day for my morning cuppa. And to boot, it's only a fiver.

I’m not sure why there are multiple part numbers for the same thing. For some reason Land Rover has decided to change the part. According to my electronic stash of receipts and spend on the D3 the one I have is LR087454. I also purchased them from LRdirect but honestly a breaker or fleabay might have them cheaper.

I never buy items like this near Christmas - but I do drop plenty of hints when in the right company, It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Good thing about the flexi holders is they, obviously, take a multitude of cups. Here the results of one mokka pot brew up, ceramic household cup for now & thermal cup for a couple of hours down the road.
