Anyone know if this adaptor will work direct on a TV? I have an LG with a USB port for a wireless but LG want c£50.

As far as I know the Sky adaptor has an RG45 plug on it and not a USB one.Cheers Ian

So best double check with those who know

Got mine connected up no problems downloading away then little one says can we watch a film that is on pay per view, yep no problems went through the process to down load then said cannot do please contact the help desk.
Phoned them up and they said you need to connect your phone line to the sky box to access this service,
but what's the point of me buying the box then as the reason I originally wanted one is that my router is in the kitchen where my phone line comes in and my sky box is in the living room with two brick walls and a hall between hence the wifi box,
ahh you have a problem then and as your box is out of warranty we can send an engineer out for £85 to check it out,
but surely the reason the pay per view is that I need a hard wired phone line,
well do you want an engineer to come out or not,
no goodbye,
phoned back up nice you lady who agreed with my diagnosis asked what I could do,
err nothing sorry apart from getting your phone hard wired to sky box,
then why would I want the wireless router then,
errr......

You don't need it hardwired i have my 2 sky boxes connected with wireless senders, again about £80 but you can buy them and fit them yourself.
Have a look online you can get the for around £50 if you only have the 1 box, far tidier job than cable routed all over your house for the sake of a sky box.

Good gizmo, would have gone fo one had I not got fed up with sky and switched entirely to Virgin & TiVo
