Ski Carrier

Tried in vain to get this info from a dealer so hopefully someone on here can help....

Has anyone got the Ski Carrier, not the Ski Box, the two large 'clamps' that attach to the crossbars for holding skis and snowboards? If so would you be kind enough to measure the internal dimensions of them for me. I'm trying to find out the maximum width and height (thickness) they will hold

TIA
Simon

To add to this query, I've got the LR cross bars, anyone found a ski holder that will fit onto them?

Hadn't seen the LR ones. The ones online are more like you described and act as cross bars. Will enquire further unless you have a URL?
Thanks, BP

Major edit required. I now see that when I click onto the ski carriers it ticks both the cross bars and the ski carriers UGH!
Most of the stuff is Thule. Might be worth checking with them.

Good idea, the LR ones fit D3 and D2 crossbars (different fittings though) so they are fairly generic

I guess the accessory configurator does that to show you that the crossbars are needed to mount them on

Thule site is a cryptic as LR!

If anyone goes into a dealer soon and has time, pop round to the parts dept and measure the ski carriers if they've got them in stock

Ta Very Much
