I have also stayed there, a really nice site. If you have not been before, you must go to the Drunken Duck Pub, only 5 mins drive away. Nice grub.
Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

We go to Skelwith a couple of times a year, really enjoy it on there.

The Skelwith hotel also do a decent meal in the Talbot bar at the back of the hotel on the junction for Elterwater / Coniston road.

Won't get chance until October to go this year Big Cry

Enjoy your stay, not jealous at all.

We stay near the kids playground for our girls, 74 is the first pitch by the area the kids play football, as a result the van gets a fair few hits.

Usually just have a walk round that way on our stroll about.

Having the super pitch suits me the way SWMBO goes through water like it's going out of fashion Very Happy

Just looking at dates for our trip over in October.

Wouldn't pay for the super pitch as they look very cramped, we like 41. We stayed on it twice now

nice site, stayed there first in 1980, took a 2 berth mardon towed with 1974 mgb roadster. Roadster is still with me today (as is the wife) now fully restored. MGB that is lol! Can remember Drunken Dunk when it had Theakstons Old Perculiar straight out of the barrel. Happy days. Razz
